Happy Monday to all! Week one of cooking in my own kitchen was a success! The only think I almost burned was my own tuna salad sandwich. Still figuring out our stove. :) Now, here is this week's menu for you!
- Monday: Frozen Pizza and Fruit
- Tuesday: Garlic Chicken, Potatoes and Salad
- Wednesday: Artichoke Bruschetta, Corn on the Cob and Salad
- Thursday: Please-May-I-Have-Some-More Soup and Garlic and Cheddar Irish Soda Bread
- Friday: Pizza
On Saturday, Dearest Carl and I made this delicious dessert: Pumpkin Frozen Yogurt. We ended up taking it to my parents with us on Sunday afternoon to share because it was so delicious! And then we got home and our Sunday Treat (a new tradition) was apple pie. :) Oh! And in case you were wondering. Please-May-I-Have-Some-More Soup is a stew that includes sausage, potatoes, carrots, onions and cabbage. My dad was the one who associated it with the Oliver Twist quote "Please Sir, may I have some more?" in a British accent of course. :) I just love having my own kitchen and I thank God for all the food and utensils He has blessed me with!!!

You are loved so stay happy!
