Vote For...

I'm not going to tell you who to vote for. Being November 6th, you've probably done your own research already. Or maybe you've already been to the polls and you'll walk around proudly displaying your "I voted!" sticker today. Me, I'm going straight to the polls after work and I have to say, I'll be glad to have all the elections over and done with. I have done with politics. It's tiring to have so many different people bashing other people and pulling you in so many different directions. Oh, and in case you were wondering, the above picture does not reflect the breakfast table at the Watkins house this morning. :)

"Liberty has never come from Government. Liberty has always come from the subjects of it. The history of liberty is a history of limitations of governmental power, not the increase of it." ~ Woodrow Wilson

“Loyalty to country ALWAYS. Loyalty to government, when it deserves it.” ~ Mark Twain

“I predict future happiness for Americans, if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.” ~ Thomas Jefferson

"Truth is not determined by majority vote." ~ Doug Gwyn

“Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves.” ~ Ronald Reagan

"There are many men of principle in both parties in America, but there is no party of principle." ~ Alexis de Tocqueville

"Mankind will never see an end of trouble until... lovers of wisdom come to hold political power, or the holders of power... become lovers of wisdom." ~ Plato

"Some men change their party for the sake of their principles; others their principles for the sake of their party." ~ Winston Churchill

“My concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God's side, for God is always right.” ~ Abraham Lincoln

You are loved by an all mighty King so stay happy!
