Two things I have noticed about the new house. One, we now hear no nighttime life. Living in town means no crickets and no spring peepers. And I miss them. Two, there is a profusion of birds come sunrise! I sit here with my coffee, the windows open and letting in the cool morning breeze, and they're out there filling the air with their songs. It's so peaceful, even if I can hear the hum of cars driving past. I am loving this place.
